Resource: The Trans Lifeline

I wanted to share the following resource on the blog, as I know the typical crisis hotlines are not always trans-informed, inclusive, and mindful of involving the police. The Trans Lifeline (https://translifeline.org/) is divested from police and run by trans people. They can be reached at (877) 565-8860.

A few things to note: the Trans Lifeline has limited hours (my guess would be due to funding and it being new), so check their hours before you call on their FAQ page. Their operators are also still mandated reporters, so while they will not enforce non-consensual active rescue, there are a few other reasons they could be required to contact authorities.
